EMERGENCY EVACUATION SCHEME IMPLEMENTATION
Red Alert can provide a full consultancy service to implement an approved emergency evacuation scheme. From the initial quote through to submission of the scheme to the NZ Fire Service for approval we cover all aspects of evacuation scheme implementation. We will write and submit all necessary documentation to the NZFS, we will train your tenants as appropriate, supply them with the necessary evacuation products and hold an initial fire drill. We can liaise with other contractors such as fire alarm agents as required by property management.
EMERGENCY EVACUATION SCHEME MAINTENANCE
Emergency evacuation schemes require regular (usually six monthly) maintenance to remain current. Red Alert can ensure your building remains compliant by completing the necessary paperwork for the Fire Service, training your tenants as appropriate and holding a fire drill. Again we can liaise with other contractors such as fire alarm agents as required by property management. Reports on the drill are sent to the Fire Service, to tenants and to property management as required.
EMERGENCY PROCEDURE PACKAGES
An evacuation procedure rather than a full evacuation scheme is required in buildings with fewer than 10 staff and for some other buildings that do not require evacuation schemes. An evacuation procedure does not require NZ Fire Service approval, consequently they are less time consuming and less expensive to implement. Staff training and trial evacuations can be held on request.
SUPPLY OF EVACUATION PRODUCTS
Red Alert can supply and install (where necessary) all products required to implement and maintain evacuation schemes and procedures. These products include Wardens identification (jerkins or armbands), evacuation notices, evacuation boards and evacuation checklists.
